Hitting a Wall...Literally

The wall never loses...

Need a drill partner but can't find one? As our friend from Atlanta, Chris Wolfe, says: "That wall, that wall is there for you every...single..day." Let's watch him take advantage of it in his video Pickleball Wall Drills - How to Play By Yourself.

In this video, Chris places a piece of tape at 34" high on the wall and 7' from the wall on the ground. He starts his practice with dinking.

Chris will occasionally mix in a shot where he "bangs" the ball back at himself to practice the block volley.

Then, Chris practices volleys.

The most interesting practice to me is one where he drives the ball high and hard to simulate a lob. He then runs back to practice either a drop shot or a drive.

He ends the video with groundstrokes where he emphasizes the need to practice footwork.

The video is shown below.

This a really good practice made fun.
