Skill
levels 3.5 and below will have pre- game instructions at 5:15 and start play at
5:30. Skill levels 4.0 and higher will have pre-game instructions at 7:15 and
start as soon as courts are available after the first group finishes.

Skill
levels 3.5 and lower will have pre- game instructions at 12:15 and start play
at 12:30 Skill levels 4.0 and higher players will have pre-game instructions at
2:15 and start as soon as courts are available after the first group finishes.
Tournament play
- Sign up with your partner of choice
- Double elimination.
- Four courts will be used so all eight teams can play with few wait times.
- One game to 15, do not have to win by two. Reverse sides at 7 points by leading team.
- Line calls made by receiving team.
- Balls used will be Green Jugs indoor balls.
- Will have two divisions of play by skill level ranking. If you do not know your ranking, go to: http://www.bendpickleballclub.com/how-to-play/pickleball-skill-level-definitions/
- Please be fair in providing your skill level ranking. Playing at a lower level is not fair. If you and your partner have different ranking you will play at the higher ranking.
- Registration is limited to __16__ Teams per day. Eight per skill level group.
- Due date for preregistration ($10.00 per person) is June 29. Late registration is $15.00 per person (after June 29) if space is available.
- Cost is per person, includes all four days plus drinks and snacks only on June 6, 7 and 10.

RELEASE, PERMISSION, AND
INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
Waiver. In consideration of being permitted to participate in
any way in the Lelia Patterson Pickleball Tournament (“the Tournament”), I, for
myself, my heirs or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge and
covenant not to sue [name of entity sponsoring tournament and/or facility
where the tournament is being held], its/their officers, employees and
agents from liability from any and all claims resulting in personal
injuries, accidents or illnesses (including death) and property loss arising
from my participation in the Tournament.
Assumption of Risk. Participation in the Tournament carries with it
certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken
to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary, but include 1) minor injuries
such as bruises, sprains and dehydration, 2) major injuries such as eye
injuries, joint, bone or back injuries, heat stroke, heart attacks, and
concussions, and 3) catastrophic injuries such as paralysis and death. I
have read the previous paragraphs and I know, understand and appreciate these
and other risks that are inherent in playing pickleball. I assert that my
participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such risks.
Indemnification and Hold
Harmless. I also agree to
indemnify and hold the LPC Tournament [add others as desired] harmless
from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages and
liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in
the Tournament.
