2017 Super Senior World Pickleball Championships

Registration for the Super Senior World Pickleball Championships to be held October 23-25 in Griffin, GA has opened. Note that this tournament has restricted ages (60+) and requires both a USAPA and a SSIPA membership.









$15,000 + Award/Prize VALUE
These are not cash awards/prizes.
Awards/Prizes will be distributed to SSIPA circuit points leaders and medalists in the tournament as determined by SSIPA management.


This commemorative pin will be yours free at the tournament.

Super Senior World Pickleball Championships

in Spalding County, GA (35 miles south of Atlanta)
hosted by Spalding County Pickleball Association, Inc. (SCPA)
in support of Super Senior International Pickleball Association (SSIPA)


WORLD CLASS FACILITY FOR A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

Spalding County Pickleball Complex - has some features and amenities that make it an extraordinary facility, to include: 18 dedicated courts, with four courts covered and DecoTurf cushion surface on the "front" 12 courts; dedicated Concession Stand/Restrooms building (with changing stations in each and one shower in each); concrete walkways in and around all courts and the central hub for easy navigation and mobility to all courts; picnic tables (for eating, socializing and gathering), with built-in benches, down the middle hub (east to west); shade structures on the back six courts; all courts with bleachers and/or benches; and fountains and bottle fillers. All of this in a beautiful park setting, less than three miles from nearby hotels and restaurants.

Monday October 23: Men’s/Women’s Doubles
Tuesday October 24: Mixed Doubles
Wednesday October 25: Men’s/Women’s Singles

USAPA SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT
DOUBLE ELIMINATION/ROUND ROBIN

AGE GROUP TOURNAMENT 60+
Age groups will be 60-64, 65-69,70-74,75-79, and 80+
If there are enough entrants at various skill levels, within the age groups, the tournament director may separate the age groups into a variety of combinations of skill levels.
Three teams at any age group skill level will constitute an event but may be combined with other skill levels.

Players of older age groups will not be combined with younger age groups without player consent.

Entry deadline October 9 or event registration may also be closed when the tournament director deems the day's events are full.

Players will be given a free dry fit shirt to commemorate the event (available in both men's and women's styles and sizes) and an extra dry fit tournament shirt will be a player option for only $10.



REGISTRATION FEES:   $35 per person,   plus $10 for EACH event entered, AND
A referee service fee of $10 will also be added to all player registration fees to cover the costs of paying referees $5 per match. 

Registrations received after early registration deadline of September 9, 2017 will cost an additional $20.

USAPA and SSIPA membership are required to play in this tournament.

A one tournament temporary SSIPA membership is available during registration for $5 ; however, temporary members will not be eligible for
AWARDS/PRIZES.
