Offbeat Sunday: Forum Trash Talk

You wanna talk some trash...

A little over a year ago, I had a post called Trash Talking that had an article from Pickleballbiz. Now, the Pickleball Forum has entered the arena with their version starting with this question:

Soooo, what are some of your favorite quips, sayings and expressions while in the heat of the game? I'm always looking for another appropriately witty remark.

• Sometimes the paddle actually gets in the way of the ball.
• Quit hitting the ball back because that's causing us problems.
• Is that the best you can do?
• Who put that net in the way???!!!
• Don't do that again.
• If that's the way you're going to play.
• I think its great your wife lets you use her paddle! 
• Be prepared to get your socks knocked off! 

• Uh, what happens here STAYS here! 
• Luck beats skill. 
• Hit the ball, if you are here to watch, go sit in bleachers. 
• Check your paddle for a hole. And check both sides, hole might only be on one side. 
• Wait! How long has that net been there?!?
• Even a blind squirrel gets a nut every once in a while.

• Nobody's home.
• Where you going?
• Wrong garage!
• The net got in the way.
• Did you forget your Big Boy paddle?
• Open your eyes next time.

• Did you pull that shot out of your back pocket?
• That one defied the laws of physics!
• You forgot to turn your paddle on. 
• Was that about the right height for you or do I need to make some adjustments? 
• Great shot, And you were only in the kitchen this much.
• That was a really great shot. Next time open your eyes so YOU can see it.
