NC Senior Games 2015

The NC Senior Games competition for pickleball was held October 13-15 in Concord. 

Local players were very successful winning medals in many categories. The list of all medalists is shown in the following attachment.

Pickleball players from Henderson and Transylvania counties won medals at the North Carolina Senior Games in Concord.

The players play Monday through Friday mornings on the courts at the Crosswalk at First Baptist Church.

About 17 players from the Hendersonville area competed in the senior games. “It’s a very fast game,” said Frank Schizzano, a lifelong handball and racketball player who retired here from New Jersey. “You have to be in good shape to play it.”
